- Green School in a Lunchbox website offers teachers in grades K-12 green tools and the latest information to be able to pass the message to their students.
- The Emerging Professionals organized Detroit’s first-ever Better Block in an effort to raise awareness of complete streets, placemaking methods, and the potential for healthy, vibrant neighborhoods in the city.
- The LEED for Neighborhood Development Committee was able to create the MAKING LEED® ND HAPPEN FOR YOUR DEVELOPMENT workshop.
- LEED v4 Information Session
- Green Apple Day of Service
- Various building tours and continuing education opportunities to maintain your LEED credential
Giving to Go Green
We have launched our 2012-2013 fundraising campaign “Giving to Go Green” and have a goal of raising $20,000.
You can help continue this great fundraising momentum by considering the USGBC DRC in your Year-End giving plans. We appreciate all levels of giving. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, your gift to the DRC is tax deductible to the extent of the law.
